She is Chair of her local Precinct: Board Member of The Gold District where she helped 30 property owners obtain a Transit Oriented Development Zoning Overlay and connected the Reid Gold Mine with the Gold District. She has served on the board of CharlotteEAST as Secretary and Chair of the PR Committee; the Housing Justice Coalition pushing elected officials to create more and varied affordable housing; and Secretary of New South Progressives whose Executive Committee lobbied and won a repeal of Charlotte’s Extraordinary Events Ordinance. With her fantastic networking skills she does an excellent job connecting folks with each other and the organizations that interest them.
